Ottawa and region are home to remarkable business leaders and companies. This fall, the Ottawa Board of Trade and Ottawa Business Journal invite you to celebrate the best of the best in local business. Hear their stories. Celebrate their success. Get inspired.

More than 25 local companies will be recognized in categories such as Best Business, Best New Business, Best Performance, Deals of the Year and more.

Plus, special awards will be presented to the CEO of the Year, the CFO of the Year, the Newsmaker of the Year and the Lifetime Achievement Award.

How our awards process works

1. Nominate a business

You can start your BOBs nomination process by creating an account. Once your account is created, then you can create entries. Entries are judged by the selection committee.

2. Nominees submit entries for judging

Nominees fill out entry forms to be submitted to our judges. Each category has its own set of questions and judging criteria.

3. Judges evaluate entries

After all entries are in, our panel of judges will score the entries according to criteria relevant to each category.

4. Selection of winners

After all judge scores are in, finalists and winners are selected, and we prepare for our Awards Celebration night.

5. Celebrate!

At the conclusion of our awards season, we will gather for our Awards Gala to honour the achievements of our peers.
